The decisions made in the next Long Term Plan will affect your rates for years to come.

KCDC is currently in a process of early engagement on the Long Term Plan through their first survey – “Prioritise Kapiti: Help shape our Long-term Plan” with a cut-off of midnight Sunday 26th July.

We have reservations on how this survey is presented and although we are encouraging participation in it, we have some additional information and practical guidance that could assist the community with their feedback (see our document below)

We are holding a public meeting on Sunday 19th July – details in the poster below.

Can’t make our meeting? Below you will find our comments/suggestions (in the green boxes) in relation to the survey. We hope you will find these useful in completing the survey which you can do by either:

• Filling it out online
• Grabbing a paper copy from the Council, or printing a copy, fill it out and return it to any Library or Service Centre
