Concerned Ratepayers Kapiti will lobby to keep rate increases at a minimum by:
- Making sure costs for Local Water Done well are open and transparent and how cost increase will be offset by lower property rates
- Challenging the implementation of the Economic Development Strategy
- Fighting for a consultation process for next year’s annual plan
We are also looking at areas that ratepayers have identified that they are most concerned about, and develop alternative approaches to how they are being handled.
