There’s huge interest in the 2025 local body elections — and one of the best ways to get informed is to see and hear directly from the people putting their names forward.

From 14th August to 2nd October, a full line-up of “Meet the Candidates” events is planned across the district — giving you the chance to ask questions, hear visions, and get a real sense of who deserves your vote.

We strongly encourage everyone to attend as many of these sessions as possible. These are your future decision-makers — make sure you know who they are.

Concerned Ratepayers Kapiti events will feature Mayoral and Ward candidates, with our final meeting on 2nd October focused on District-Wide and Māori Ward candidates.
